Why these tools exist
Most people just need a timer that opens instantly and works. TimerClockify keeps its tools free and free of friction: no sign-up, no pop-ups over a running timer, and a clean fullscreen mode for shared displays.
How the timing works
Every timer, alarm, and stopwatch is based on real timestamps rather than assuming each tick runs exactly on time. A countdown stays accurate in a background tab, and an alarm whose moment passed while the device slept still fires when the page wakes.
Private by design
Your timers, alarms, and preferences are stored locally in your browser, not on a server. There is no account, and nothing about your timers is uploaded — clearing your browser data removes them.
Honest limitations
Browser tools have limits. Sound may be blocked until you interact with the page, notifications require your permission, and background behaviour depends on your browser and device. TimerClockify is made for everyday use, not safety-critical timing.
